FINALLY!

So if you read the last post then you know what we have been going through trying to get Bean's Humira. If not you may want to go back and check it out. After 4 weeks of fighting and waiting it was finally delivered. Three weeks late on her bi-weekly dose and at least one week into pain and stiffness. At any rate, we are just happy to finally have it here! A three month supply too! I really wish that insurance companies would realize that all of their red tape and bureaucracy affects actual living, breathing, human beings. But anyway she finally got a much needed dose today. Unfortunately she isn't feeling too great. Runny nose and run down. Tis the season right? Normally we would have waited on her meds to give her a chance to recover. Not this time. She just couldn't wait any longer. I'll be very surprised if she doesn't miss some school this coming week. Also she goes to Dr. Brown's Monday morning for a routine check on her eyes. Eager to see what this mess with the Humira has done. Nothing I pray, BUT, if she is flaring, I know it will be okay. The Humira worked before and it will work again. Faith and trust. I have learned a lot about those two things lately :)

Amy, thanks for posting these pictures. While I was reading the post Claire walked by the computer and was so happy to see that she's not the only little girl who needs "pokes".

I will pray that Jenna's eyes are clear!

Thank you so much for the prayers Natalie :) I will for sure post as soon as I can on Monday. I am so happy to hear that these pics helped even ONE child!! She hates when I take pics of her at all let alone pics of her getting shots. But the last time I put pics on here of shot day, or it may have been a video, I got a similar response from a Mom. I told Jenna that it helps other kids to feel better about their shots. So she lets me once in awhile :)
