AMEN!!

God is good!! Definitely praising Him today for watching over our Bean these past few weeks. Today we took Jenna for her regular, routine appointment with the pediatric ophthalmologist. For any of you new at following Bean's story, her Uveitis has been the MOST stubborn part of her battle. So you see I was a bit worried about her going without her Humira for three weeks. Since THAT is the medication that finally, after over a year, got the Uveitis under control and got her OFF those nasty drops. For any of you that are treating your own, or your child's Uveitis with Predisilone Drops, please understand how damaging that it to the eyes. It is NOT an effective long term answer for treatment. Please see the link in my sidebar that says Uveitis. Click that, it brings you to the MERSI website. Dr. Stephen Foster is one of if not THE best in his field. But anyway I digress....SO her eyes did GREAT even with missing her Humira for three weeks! WOOT! Dr. Brown said that she doesn't want to see us now for another three MONTHS! WOW! That brings us to January 5th! *sigh* Such a huge sigh of relief.

I'm so happy that you had a great appointment! It's so wonderful when our kids are doing well- especially when you've had a stubborn problem! Congrats on the great visit! :)

Thanks Danielle! It was such a relief. Her eyes were stubborn for so long. It is still hard to believe that we found the right combination of medicines that work. So then when we went without one of them for even 3 wks it was scary!
