We have an appointment......
Thursday December 11th with Dr. Foster! Yay! I am so excited that they can see her so soon. BUT..... I am also SO scared. First off I HATE traveling in unfamiliar areas. I am so afraid of getting lost and missing the appointment. I am also scared about what he will have to say. Just over the weekend I can tell her eyes have gotten worse. She has been assking for medicine every night. She has prescription Ibuprofen for her arthritis. Last night her right eye was VERY red and bloodshot. Today they just look droopy and glazed over. Kind of like someone that's doped up is the best way I can describe it. So we'll see how it goes. December 11th seems way far off yet not really ya know?

Glad you was able to get her in sooner. i so hear ya about driving were you are not used to. If I can drive 1050 miles to here you can do it to! :)
That is great news you got in. If her eye gets worse in the meantime call them. I have had to move Jake's appt before and they fit him in whenever I could make it. That is scary how her eyes are red and droopy. Just curious, how often are the drops? As far as getting lost in Cambridge... I have been there quite a few times and I still get lost! I use my navigator in the car. So when I still take wrong turns it still gets me there. Maybe your brother can go with you. You will be so happy you are going there. He is an amazing doctor. He will set out to cure your little girl. He has the most knowledge on the condition. It is so worth the drive. I remember when Jacob started this flare up and I was so concerned about his joints. Nothing prepared me to face this battle with his eyes. The joint troubles went out the window it was all about his eyes then. I don't worry so much about his eyes now. I have full confidence in Dr. Foster. Have you read on the Ask Dr. Foster section on his website? So many people seek him out for complicated issues. People are willing to travel from so far away. We are so lucky he is in driving distance. Glad to hear they will see you sooner!
I may need to get a GPS! Will have to talk to hubby on that one. I don't know if my brother can meet us. That would be ideal but I don't know about his work schedule(he travels). I DID read the ask Dr. Foster section. WOW! I feel privelaged to be going to see him. The redness and droopiness in her eyes isn't constant so IDK. Does it make sense to you that it comes and goes. It is mostly AM & PM not midday.Her drops are 4x daily, 8, 4, 12 & 8.
Why don't you post a question on ask dr foster tell him when you are scheduled. Explain to him what her eyes are doing and see if he thinks the drops are sufficient. Ask if he thinks you should be in sooner. He responds so fast to questions. I would because I would be nervous seeing that. Jacob's eyes never really looked different. He complained about light sensitivity, that's it.
